An Ton's Journey

Hmm to get cannons I need To get Forge. And it seems it does not require any other building, but only researches. hmm I will surely get this now.

I placed it close to the Nexus. It looks like in the game but much more detailed.

It is pretty big too, as expected. It is forge. And it seems in this forge I can upgrade all global shield armor and damage upgrades as in the game. But also I can modify cannons and open up new types and so on. But mostly it seems Forge produces Cannons that could be simple basic cannon or modified one and then I could summon it pretty fast on the actual needed space.

So, for now I began crating basic ones as i don't want to get in to upgrading everything at the same time. Me and Nexus are more important now. Me especially.

After building forge I ordered my probes to place Pylons with two Cannons all across the island. While enjoying the view of them running everywhere, I ordered more Probes. as I had much more pylons now. With time I just put them on auto build because it was tiring to add them by myself.

Days passed. I upgraded my manipulators, shield and practially all of myself to the max.

The most problematic things were centipedes. They could move underground and pop anywhere at night, It seems they destroyed a couple of pylons. Even with cannons protecting them. I better find out how they did this.

I decided to try something new, because I was becoming bored. The first thing I decided to try is to just run around the island and place pylons with turrets around it. After a days work I stopped. It was a bad idea. Island is too big to do it. It became boring. Very boring.

"Aghh... so bored. What were people doing without Internet, TV, Books and other Techology? "

Contemplating for a while I decided to Begin Building Gateways. and decided to build a lot at the same time as I will need to hunt down those centipedes. But first researching I spent 100k minerals.

I built ten. As I decided to go pretty big, but not stupidly big. This took me around and hour to place them and finish warping.

I did not have to research Zealots. Finally something I don't have to research. Oooof. YES. I began warping zealots in mass. and ordered all probes to collect trees for now and slow down in placing new gathering places down. But as I had around five hundred probes now and a lot of gathering points, that are pretty far away from each other, I decided that hunting should be first priority, as it was tiring to replace ones that were destroyed by centipedes.

Each zealot costed me 100 minerals and as I was gathering minerals slower than I could spend, after building 100 Zealots I decided to stop their warping for now and begin mass producing probes and mass bulding Pylons on to the Mountain.

Those Zealots were pretty much Alive and thinking, but not surprisingly obeyed me completely and had no problems to follow orders of a Drone. Interesting. I will need to find out what they are thinking later, but now they are just soldiers and they does not look like they want to talk to me.

Seems that That the stuff that I was talking to myself was talking through telepathy and It seems Zealots can hear it. GOOD . FINALLY. I WOULD BE ABLE TO TALK TO SOMEONE.

How wrong I was. Zealots were quiet people. They were soldiers and did not want to talk. They were just waiting for orders. So I sent them to hunt down or capture those centipedes if possible. I hope it will not take long or I will have to Warp more.

~Two weeks passed~

My probes are crazy. They placed Pylons all across the forest. Those lovely little Probes. Oh yea, now i have around five thousand probes. Yea. a little too much, but that is the result of my boredom. Fuck it.

Zealots could not hunt down the Centipedes. They found Caves where they live, but Those caves intervine so much that it is hard to hunt someone in there. and Centipedes are very fast. I did not see a lot of them outside at the same time, so I thought that there were not a lot of them.

All my Zealtos were destroyed today. Pretty fast. And lookout standing outside the caves too. I watched them die. Tens of Centipedes rushed outside at the same time and Zealots were not able to stand alive for long. Yes, they killed a couple but that was it. My Zealots were dead. It was bad.

I need to build something more than just Zealots. And I better upgrade Nexus and make it fly as soon as possible. I am afraid that It will not be safe anymore on this island.

Sorry for this extremely short chapter, no ideas come to mind to make it interesting. And I falling back down in to depression.

I will release chapter tomorrow. and make it longer. will try to make it 3k +- words

I was thinking about the way to force my MC to get off the island and stop abusing the forest so I think about forcing Him to fly away. What are your thougths about it? Make suggestions.
