An Ton's Journey

" So, Fenix, should we do something or just wait?" I asked after suppressing dėsɨrė to just break out and run away aimlessly.

" I would prefer for us to wait, I contacted Darks and they said that government surrounded Arrowbiter and tried to move it with a reason of ' Using ship without license '." Fenix said.

" So, one of them has gone to the probes that we sent to create a camp, the other one, blinked inside the ship before it was taken from the hangar. " He continued

" It would not be smart to begin fighting the government until we can be sure that you can come out of it alive. " He finished

" Hmm, true, it will be hard, but can't we just warp out of here? " I replied to him

" To warp we would need a Warp gate, or Warp prism, or at the very least Warp beacon somewhere on the planet, and we would need to be in the energy field to be able to warp out or warp in " Fenix explained that it is not possible for now.

" So, we need to wait until Darks get to the camp and warp a prism? But getting prism out here would be tricky. We would need Arbiter for this." I tried to confirm my thoughts.

" Hmm, is it what you were suggesting to wait for? " I asked while looking around and confirming that others were listening.

" Not really, that might be troublesome as we don't know how their systems work and invisibility might not work on their defence" He replied

" I was thinking about warping more Darks and for them to get us out quietly, and warp us out using prisms, after we leave the city. Also I asked Templars to use hallucinations, so we would not disappear just like that." He finished

" And what about our ship? " I asked

" Well, it will have to wait. I doubt it will be able to fly out from anywhere they took it to " Fenix answered thoughtfully.

It seems what is left is for us to wait.

Or so I thought.

After ten minutes or so, came the guards and opened my cell. They brought with them a robot carrying a cell. And it seems it is for me.

As it was happening, I asked Fenix.

" Should I get in, or better fight back, I don't want to get in there. who knows where they will be taking me. " I Did not feel good about current situation.

" How dare they..." Fenix said in quiet grumble.

" Grhm. It would be better for us to wait more, but we can not allow them to take you somewhere where we would not be able to find you." He said in agitation

" We will distract them, and templars will use an illusion to allow you to escape. We will be fine, but we can't put you in any danger " He finished.

" Stop stop stop. This will not do. we have time. don't do it. They will not be able to do anything bad to me until help comes. " I hastily replied. I did not feel good about them losing their chance to survive for a chance for me to escape.

" I will defend myself if needed, Don't worry. I will be fine. I have weapons and I am pretty fast. " I finished, while they locked the cell on the robot with me in the cell.

" Ugh, following your order. " Fenix replied with strained face.

When they were moving me out, I heard him that if anything happens and I will have to escape, I should go to the bar on the opposite side of the hangar where we landed.

There seems to be one of the Vultures left close to it.

As they moved me out, they brought me through a lot of corridors and elevators, but we never were outside. Huh, this place is big.

after around twenty or so minutes of riding on the robot, I was brought to some kind of lab. So, they want to try and do something with me? huh! Don't think so!!

As I thought that, I heard them connecting some clamps to my body and then I saw how they opened the cell and just placed me on to the table.

Huh.

As these thoughts were coursing through my mind, they began trying to separate parts of my body, but they were unsuccessful using physical means. They did not see it at first, but my shield protected me at the point of connection with hooks, so those hooks deformed a little bit.

Then came time for lasers, and the time for me to stop hesistating.

I released my ring and it sprung out extremely fast. I then used cannons to shoot weakened cannon shots at guards and ooh boy, they just whoosh, and evaporated.

Whoops. fck me. lowered, but not enough. whoops.

As the panic began, I started lowering cannons output, but increasing rate of fire.

So, after seven casualties, and five workers with broken bones and burned flesh, I finally set my cannons to shoot strong and fast enough to not kill with one shot, but knock people off with one or two hits.

At least they would hardly be able to get up, if they would still be able to stay conscious.

Well, after getting them all down, I saw that I killed people. But it did not make me feel that bad, I had no dėsɨrė to vomit, especially without ability to vomit...

After I shot door out, I heard alarm going off.

Fck. I should've just taken someone's pass..

Well, nothing can be done now.

Just shoot and run!

After leaving that room, there was a corridor with rooms to the sides. and even guns coming out of ceiling. Every time I saw a gun, it already was shooting at me, but shield just held on and even reflected the shots. rarely.

After three turrets, i got used to aiming at them and shot at them. At first i did almost no damage, but after shooting a little I increased the power and ripped them out of their places.

Easily.

What came after, was the cross section with soldiers standing in it and shouting for me to stop.

They had energy shields, semi-stationary ones. Well, I just started shooting. At first with weak shots, as I made it standard setting.

As I looked at the shots that deal damage, I saw it being some kind of ammo that explodes in little electric explosions.

Huh, so they can hurt me in here with hand held weapons? I should get rid of them and get out fast.

As these thoughts came to me in a flash, I began increasing the strength of shots.

At some point, My shots began to push them back, even without breaking their shields. But that was too slow. I decided to use my weapon on full power, even understanding that it will stop me from being able to blind them a little with my shots.

* Whooshinng

* Psshhhh

Whoops, first shots from each cannon penetrated right through the shield, enemy and the wall.

Should've used it sooner.

After knowing that it was better to use it on full power and not caring about lives that much, I continued forth!

Fck. They obviously can control these. argh.

So without second thought I just shot through the side of the elevator and connected ring back to my body.

Now, if my thoughts are correct I just need to jump.

And I jumped to the side of the elevator tunnel and attached myself to the wall using manipulators. After this, came the boring stuff. I climbed. All faster and faster.

If you could look from the side, you would see how I looked just like a wheel. What? it was the easiest way for me. And faster then using them to climb like human. I have a lot of manipulators. I can do that.

After climbing a little, I saw a shield covering the way up. I seem to have connection deeper in to the wall, so I, like any sane person, just began digging with manipulators.

I had to make myself a hole first, before I could shoot this shield.

It did not take me long, but before I could finish my hole completely, I heard a sound from below. looking down, I saw elevator going up. And fast.

So I tried to fit into my hole, but I was not finished, so when It came in to contact with my shield, it got partially ripped and I even saw some blood.

Well. I am fine, I think?

I continued digging, and when I finished, I changed to the ring and began shooting at the shield.

And it works. Kinda.

Shield breaks where shots were, but then it closes up.

I need to break its emitters. And they seem to be deeper in to the wall.

Well, time to shoot some walls until I break that shield down.

So I began shooting.

After a while, I heard elevator, but too late.

It stopped right in front of me, but I never stopped shooting, so the first and last thing people in it saw, was me and my shots.

Well, it came down right to the place so my shots has done couple of headshots.

As this elevator made me unable to see where I was shooting, I just shot it across and it fell apart.

So After breaking a shield and coming out of the hatch, I was outside. on the roof of pretty high building. And there were a lot of people. I was surrounded.

When I saw that, I got petrified for a second, and it was my bad. they began shooting from all sides.

As they seem to be using electric weapons, they dealt damage to my shields.

After collecting myself, I began firing back. but as there were all more and more of them, my shield was breaking.

After couple of minutes of fighting, my shield finally broke when their ships came and shot at me.

* Clang clang clang

" Aargh." I shouted in pain when their electric weapons connected to my hull.

They did not leave a dent on it even with ships weapons, but I felt so much pain from electricity, that I fell down on the floor.

And they surrounded me, used a net under electricity that in their opinion seem to disable me, and began moving me somewhere, while I began to pass out under the intense pain from their net.

When I woke up, I was inside the chains and into the spherical metal cuff that did not allow me to take out my ring.

Also, it seems that there was someone in front of me. And as I showed signs of turning on, he spoke.

So, that was longer chapter, because i was in the mood to write and almost nothing happened in this chapter. But it had to be done.
