An Ton's Journey

"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU... CKING HELL!!" I shouted loudly

"Time to find a way to get Minerals. But where would they be? I can't see any on this island. At least on the surface." I said while thinking about ways to get minerals.

The first thought was to check trade ability and it was right choice. I could sell resources of any kind to the shop. For example earth could be sold - but it was really cheap and to get the needed 400 minerals would require much more time than selling trees for example.

I could sell rocks, ores, trees, water and literally anything around me. As it is said in the introduction to the trade menu - the more resource sold - less the price. And trade menu had a limit of transactions. It will not buy too much cheap resources at once as it is wasteful and transporting those resources would cost more than their price (at some point).

I can't understand how it is possible to sell it like that, but it seems that this is some super-advanced magical technology that I would not be able to understand. As it seems that only resources from my storage could be sold, I have to place items inside it manually and not just stand close to it.

"EErghhh.."

"I don't want to work" I began to think of a reason not to do it. And all of them were crushed by a thought that I could create other drones and they would do all the work for me.

"Uhhhh. let's begin. First of all - How is storage system working? " I began to think on how to use it. I tried thinking about 'Put this tree in storage', didn't work.

Tried thinking about it, tried talking, yelling, willing, grabbing it and putting it on me(ended in failure)... and it worked when I used system storage menu to put item that was held by my manipulators in it. Process of me placing tree inside took a second. Whole tree in a second and it was inside my storage. To say that it was not happy moment would be telling a lie. The way tree teleported inside was marvelous. One moment it was there, other it was already incased in some kind of dark-blue/black shield and WHOOSH it disappears warping inside me, right under my [eye sensor].

"Oh. How could I be so stupid!"

"I need to be careful. There could be some dangers in here. I don't know dangers of this world."

"Better do it fast, before the night falls. Better safe than sorry"

And so I began to cut trees and placing them inside my storage. And it was FUN. If there was any wildlife in this forest - it ran away from me as I was racing through the forest and just cutting all the trees in my manipulators range. after cutting for what looked like an hour or two I got around eight hundred trees. Yeah I was surprised too that I cut that much, but it seems not much time passed. Time to sell some trees and see how much minerals it will bring to me.

My 1200 cubic meters of trees resulted in 1200 minerals and it is strange. While looking at the transaction dialogue it seems that trees from this world are different from ususal, so for some time price will be 1 cubic meter = 1 mineral. But only for the trees with roots. Ones without roots, that would no be able to grow anymore - only 1 mineral for 10 cubic meters.

It seems whoever buys these trees want to replant them at his place. Doesn't really matter to me. As long as minerals are easy to get - everything is good.

"Hmm time to place this Nexus and relax! YESS" I said while rushing to the top of the hill, as this is the best place to observe this island.

After getting to the top of the mountain I pressed nexus buŧŧon: holographic Nexus appeared in front of me... and OHH it is HUUGE up close. so I placed it right at the top of the mountain.

"WOW. so beautiful." Huge Spherical portal appeared on the designated place. It seems that this part is the same as in the game, just much bigger and a lot cooler.

The moment in appeared I rushed in to create more probes to work for me, but when I entered it was almost empty. "WHyy oh whyyy everything is much more complicated than in the game!!!??!!"

After looking around inside the only thing that was obviously useful was control panel where I could add new functions, rooms and many more to this nexus. Most of them were locked, but the one I really need to make as fast as possible is a thing that can create drones for me. And it costs a fortune. like literally fortune. HUNDRED thousand minerals to buy technology from [Knowledge stream] and another TEN thousand to create [Drone Synthesizer].

"Oh shit. why is this so expensive?"

"Soo, is there anything else that I can create and that costs less?"

"Hmmm. It seems there are some options available" I was said to myself while looking through the list of addons that mostly were locked. Obviously.

Not locked ones are:

[Repair Station lvl 0]: 1k minerals (Repairs units using energy)

[Modification station lvl 0]:1k minerals (Works only on my drone by using [Personal modification] )

[Tools Synthesizer lvl 0]: 5k minerals (Allows creation of Carriable or mountable tools and weapons)

[Main Photon Cannon lvl 0]: 10k minerals (Creates Protective Cannon on top of the Nexus)

[Main Shield Generator lvl 1]: 10k minerals (Upgrades Shield generator to protect Nexus)

[Hull upgrade to lvl 1]: 10k minerals (Makes Hull stronger and more resistant to damage)

[Photon thrusters lvl 0]: 100k minerals (Allows Nexus to move, albeit slowly. )

[Nexus Modification Station lvl1]: 1m Minerals (Allows to get more advanced and better upgrades)

"Uhh. everything is expensive and it seems the only thing that makes sense for now is to get a little bit more trees and get [Modification station] so I could see what [Personal modification] can do, as I tried pressing it and it said {No station available}. Now I know why."

The bad news is: the sun is setting. And I don't know if anything dangerous comes out at night. Better be careful and don't risk it. I think staying on top of the hill and watching around would be the best way to do it.

While maybe as a human I should feel tired in body or mind - I am not tired at all. Nor in body or mind, what feels a little bit strange, but non the less is good.

~Getting Dark~

The first thing I saw was movement. A lot of movement inside the forest. And this is strange, as in day time I saw almost no creatures - only small ones and a couple of Herbivores. While concentrating my sight on to the movement I felt like it got closer to me, and thinking about it it is obvious - drones are machines, they should have something like zoom. But this is hard to use as this is so unusual.

~After an hour~

I got pretty much used to it. At the least a little bit - I can now follow pretty erratic movements that are far and don't lose sight of the target.

In this hour of observation I found out that most of wild life on this island comes out at night. And they mostly come to hunt on to the shore. And it seems that each type have its own part of the shore.

The most common animal, from my observation, looks like Alligator with big jaw, but thinner body. It have 6 legs, long tail and it's skin resembles mix of a fish and alligator.

The most surprising thing about them is that it seems they can stand on to four legs and lift upper body part to latch on to the tree and climb on to it to wait for some prey on land. They have the biggest part of the shore, what is not really that surprising.

Another pretty eye catching one looks like centipede. Huge centipede. "BLURGH" Not a cool looking one, but an ugly version of it. No GOOGLY eyes like in some cartoons, no shininess of the shells. The dangerous looking claws, a lot of legs that look like Reaper's scythe on the end. Some drool always coming out of its creepy mandibles

To say about size? its width and height are close to mine. To Drones. And length is about fifty-sixty times of that. I counted 202 legs. This is creepy.

And there are more kinds of animals but they are mostly hunt each other and runs from previous two, so they does not worth mentioning.

"I should wait and watch a little longer to find out how they hunt and what they eat so I would be careful" I whispered to myself. And while watching them I caught myself on a thought. While I am talking I don't seem to hear any sound of my or any other voice. Am I talking in my head? Or drones does not have any way to speak? This looks bad.

"I am getting tired"

The Centipedes seems to be a mix of centipede and snake. They just devour any animal they see. Even Alligators. Like nothing. The strangest thing for me is that they Don't come close to shore. Maybe it is because there are a lot of Alligators? Most probably.

Notable thing is after hunting a little bit, Centipedes just go away, to somewhere close to the mountain and disappear. There must be a cave there, or more probably a cave system.

"I don't have anything to do, and I can't even sleep. This is boring, I wish I had an internet in here..." I sadly said. But no miracle happened, sadly. WIthout anything to do I began to move down the nexus and saw some movement in the forest close to it, so I stopped and Began watching in that direction.

Hello the few readers that found out this book. Thank you for Reading. This is Surprise Chapter as this is jsut beginning

There is a choice in what world he begins in, and I am thinking about it

1- Star Wars world, Pretty easy to buŧŧ in, not much to research because I will not include tv series in this.

2 - One piece : this is island and it is pretty easy to include 1 unknown island in this world (more research needed in stages of after the Death of Luffy's brother and I read it a long time ago and already forgot most of happenings)

3- Random Low-level cultivation or any other magical world. LOW LEVEL , so the story does not progress too fast and MC becomes OP

this is not obligatory and I will just think about it and choose by myself
