Amongst the Stars, Out in the Ocean, There's You

After a few minutes, Su Mo Han’s expression calmed down a little. However, his sharp eyes remained gloomy, like rain could fall out of them at any minute. Though he has always had a bad temper, he never got angry so easily and so fast. But thinking back, he has gotten angry again and again because of this woman. Even he, himself, didn’t know what was going on.

What was even more hateful was how this woman was a flower that loves attention and seeks it from everyone. Yet he could not muster any hatred towards her. Again and again, he pushed his bottom line for her. Every time he thinks about this, he gets enraged.

Annoyed, he walked into the bathroom, thinking she should now be clearheaded. He planned on dragging her outside, as he felt a strong need to think this whole thing over!

But once he entered the bathroom, he found Ye Fei buried underwater in the bathroom, her little head never popped up and she remained the same way he threw her in.

Strangely flustered, he walked up and found the person in water had her eyes closed tightly and a series of bubbles were floating on the water’s surface.

Without any time to think more carefully, he fished the person out of the water. Ye Fei, who was completely wet, didn’t react at all and still had her eyes tightly shut. He had forgotten his original plan of throwing her out.

Su Mo Han hit her cheeks hard. “Ye Fei!”

Ye Fei seemed to have fallen asleep and did not open her eyes. He quickly picked her up and placed her horizontally onto the bed.

He put out his hand to examine her breathing and found it to be faint. He then touched her feet and hands and found them to be without any warmth. With both hands, he began to push down on her chest, then he pinched her nose, went for her lips, and performed CPR.

After repeating this a few times, the now sweaty man now also had cold hands and feet. As he stared at the pale looking woman, his brain was blank.

Su Mo Han thought about how he’s never going to forget this woman. Even if there comes a day when he’s had enough and he’s tired of her, he’s never going to forget her.

Because in his life, there hasn’t been another woman who’s infuriated him but at the same time, made him feel helpless. There also hasn’t been another woman who’s brought so much fear and worry to him.

“Ehem… ehem…”

Finally, Ye Fei began to cough aggressively. She spat out much water and then hazily opened her eyes and looked over to the man who was staring right at her.

“Su Mo Han… you are a bastard. I have decided to stop courting you!”

The first sentence Ye Fei uttered out successfully made Su Mo Han’s expression drop. He looked over to the drunk woman but he did not explode in anger again. Instead, he sat on the side alone to calm down.

The worry he felt just then remained. His hands continued quivering as he lit up a cigarette.

Ye Fei quieted down slowly and began to breathe gently. It seemed like she had quickly fallen into a deep sleep. Su Mo Han, worried, walked over to inspect her breathing. Only after he made sure she was okay, did he sit down again.

By the time he finished his cigarette, he looked over to the damp bed and called in two maids. He asked them to give Ye Fei a hot bath and change the beddings.

As he watched the busy silhouettes in the bathroom, Su Mo Han dialed Chu Zheng’s phone.

“Sir?”

“Look up which men Ye Fei has slept with. Starting from tomorrow, I don’t want to hear from those people ever again.”

Picking up the killer’s intent from Su Mo Han’s tone, Chu Zheng was a little started, “Don’t worry. I am going to search them up now.”

After putting down his cell, Chu Zheng turned around and looked at the line of guards dressed in black. He put down the roasted chicken leg in hand and said, “We all got work to do now!”

Su Mo Han put down the phone in hand and squinted his eyes. He had decided to keep this woman by his side. He sure wanted to find out just why this woman is able to mess with his mood again and again.
