Her bright and smooth fingers gently grazed over the variety of carefully crafted porcelain enamels. The maids from behind saw her movements and reminded her, "Miss, the young master doesn't like his women having different kinds of scents."

Ye Fei's lips curled up, "You may start to dislike something even after you've liked it for a long time. Just because you don't like something now, doesn't mean you won't grow to like it."

The maid listened to Ye Fei's tongue-twister-like words and frowned. She didn't speak again.

To Yei Fei, these containers of essential balms and fragrances are things one can only gather by luck, not by constant searching. Every single scent was natural and different, yet most of them were mesmerizing.

After careful selection, Ye Fei dabbed into the magnolia flower fragrant and used it behind her ears and on her wrists.

At once, her movements began to carry a faint scent with them.

"Miss, please extend your hands."

The maids picked up the nail clipper and began to give Ye Fei a manicure as if they were terrified that she would accidentally scratch up the man.

Ye Fei merely watched with her cold eyes and waited patiently while swallowing her humiliation.

"Miss, we are done. Please follow me."

After her delicate nails have been cut short and cleaned, the maids led Ye Fei before a tightly shut door.

The door cracked open as if activating a sealed world.

Ye Fei stepped onto the velvet rug with her bare feet as she checked out this rather dimly lit room.

Ancient dark gold wallpaper carved with patterns covered the walls. Crystal bead curtains and a chandelier refracted bands of light rays. The dazzling assorted gold, silver, and jade decors highlighted the room's incomparable amount of luxuriousness.

She walked over slowly step by step. The three-meter-wide giant bed was placed in the center of the room. The silver satin quilt reflected a ray of coldness.

"Miss, please wait on the bed."

Without allowing Ye Fei to observe more closely, the maids on the side scolded. It was as if Ye Fei was an invader who had broken into a whole other world.

Ye Fei's eyelids lowered and her red lips had a slight taunt to them. She lied silently on the bed.

The moment she lied down, her entire body sank into the bed – it was as soft as the cotton in the sky.

She couldn't help but sneer. She had always thought the Ye family was one of the wealthiest, and its existence is one that others can only wish for, but never achieve. Until today, did she understand, why out of all the prominent authorities, only this man's legend is named to be an empire.

The maid helped Ye Fei fix the quilt and retreated softly. She didn't even make a sound when she walked out and closed the door.

In a daze, Ye Fei lied quietly in the bed and stared at the European styled chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

Time slipped by slowly and every second felt long.

She should be thinking about how she can please that man. Yet all the hardships she has faced these past years, all the torture she's been through, all the betrayals she had to face, all those things stomped onto her mind and continuously washed through her brain. Like a nightmare she could not wake up from, they constantly reminded her of her past!

Her hand clenched onto the quilt more and more. The blue veins on the back of her hands appeared, looking ferocious.

Su Mohan, after washing up, was in no rush to see Ye Fei. After all, no matter how beautiful a woman is, they are merely toys with different appearances. They can't ignite too much interest in him.

But, he had to admit that the new toy today is somewhat intriguing. The reason why he picked Ye Fei in the first place was that he wanted to find out what kind of woman would so impatiently want to crawl into his bed the moment she was released from jail. He was even more curious about just how aggressive and how withered a woman is after six years behind bars!
