Amongst the Stars, Out in the Ocean, There's You

Su Mohan's body froze and darkness converged around his head. An eerie silence appeared in the room.

"Pfft!" Chu Zheng couldn't hold it in and laughed.

Hearing this laughter, Ye Fei gave him a deadly glare. Her face was as red as the setting Sun. Then, she buried her head back into Su Mohan's chest and didn't dare to stick it out again and face everyone.

When their eyes met, Chu Zheng couldn't help but continue laughing and his shoulders quivered. Before he could calm down, Su Mohan's gaze went at him like a frozen sword blade that almost sliced him into pieces.

Chu Zheng instantly erased the smile on his face and put on an invadable poker face. However, the corner of his eyes continued to twitch, indicating the pain he was in from enduring.

"Um… can you please tell me where you are hurt? What caused it?" Doctor Huang was relatively calmer. He didn't dare to be as impudent as Chu Zheng.

Ye Fei tightly hugged onto Su Mohan's neck and said in a whisper, "I accidentally fell in the bathroom."

Chu Zheng and Doctor Huang all went to the bathroom to look. When they saw how messy the counter and the ground looked, they couldn't figure out what happened. If she fell, how did all the stuff from the counter drop to the ground?

"If you fell in the bathroom, you must've fallen while you were walking. It's unlikely that your bones are damaged. Does your hip or tail bone hurt? It is hard for me to judge if you damaged any bones." Doctor Huang continued.

Su Mohan frowned, his eyes full of impatience, "Stop talking bullsh!t."

Doctor Huang wiped off more sweat, "Other than taking an X-Ray at the hospital, the other option is for me to do a physical and find out if any of the bones have been hurt…"

Before he could finish, Doctor Huang found Su Mohan's raging eyes, "Are you sure you want to touch her?"

Doctor Huang gulped and said with a smile, "No… no, that not what I meant. I meant if you can, can you please do a physical and see if all the bones are in place?"

Ye Fei sat up straight and said with a red face, "No that's okay. My bones are fine…"

"Hmm… how do you know miss? To be more cautious, I have to ask, how did you fall? What kind of position were you in when you fell?"

"I…" Ye Fei looked up to Su Mohan. After seeing that he had no intention of answering the question for her, she forced herself to stutter out, "I… I just fell accidentally."

Seeing how uncertain Doctor Huang looked, Su Mohan responded impatiently, "She fell off the counter."

Ye Fei looked over at Su Mohan with her red face. How… how did he know?

Chu Zheng and Doctor Huang's gazes both turned affectionate at once. Ye Fei thought she had lost her entire life's worth of face today and chose to bury her head in Su Mohan's chest not uttering another word.

The two people on the side wanted to chuckle but sadly Su Mohan was looking as serious as an ancient judge, so they couldn't find the guts to. Within 10 seconds, both went on with their lives with their necks tucked in.

Before long, Doctor Huang took out two gracefully made jade bottles from his emergency kit. On them, were lively carved patterns, "There shouldn't be a big problem. This is an external cream newly manufactured by the pharmaceutical company. Apply this to the bruised areas and massage those areas. This should produce good results in around a week.

"Okay."

Su Mohan answered, basically indicating that they were now allowed to leave.

Chu Zheng and Doctor Huang rubbed their noses and left in a hurry. Neither of them thought the reason for having to rush here in such a hurry was because their boss was coaxing a woman…

After the two left, Ye Fei struggled to get off of him. "Um… I should go back now."

Su Mohan didn't speak and only stared at her. Ye Fei felt a little anxious being stared at so she croaked out in a crying tone, "I really can't handle anymore today…"
