"Let's go." Looking at the proudly smiling Ye Ya, Ye Fei retracted her gaze and ordered the taxi driver to go.

Today, Ye Fei left her dark and moldy place early and headed to Long Mao Plaza. She planned on buying an appropriate dress for her meeting this afternoon with the pawnshop owner.

Last night, Aunty Wu had sent her the message that the Ye family is planning on selling her mother's inheritances. The person Ye Ya and Jiang Huiru had found to help them deal with this is the owner of the pawnshop she had set up a meeting with.

For more than a decade she had taken a thief for her mother. The person she was the most apologetic to was her biological mother. Her on the other hand, had acted like her skin was rough, her flesh was thick and her bones were made out of iron. She operated as if she forgets all about the pain once her scars heal. Every few days, she would show up before Su Mohan, sway around a little, and fake a "coincidental meeting". She used all she has to think of ways to subtly seduce him.

Ye Fei felt like she was a free prostitute, acting more degraded than if she had asked for money. At least people could say they sell their bodies because they need the money. But she was being used without being paid. Whatever the customer wanted, she had to give and not only that, she had to figure out all the different ways to flirt, seduce, and please the customer. The only difference was that her customer had a higher status than others.

However, Ye Fei thought there were benefits to not asking for money. At least Su Mohan wouldn't use money to try and get rid of her. And as long as he doesn't use money, he would need to use other methods, such as energy, such as the body, such as emotions.

No matter what it is that he chooses to use, they all seem to be better than money. Because only if she can dominate an inch of his heart, can she truly use her docility and good behavior to become Missus Su.

After a rough glance, she calculated all the money she had taken out and then her gaze landed on a pink veil skirt from store MJ. Because it wasn't a new style, it was discounted heavily. After the discount, it was somewhat acceptable.

Ye Fei laughed silently. A dress this heavily discounted is definitely a style from several years ago. How could they claim it endures the test of time? But what could she do? Her pocket was empty and she could only choose things that were on sale.
