A Letter from Mr. Grim

Chapter 8:Deeply

After three days, Pauline was discharged from the hospital and was able to go back to work but her doctor advised her not to put too much load on her work to avoid stress that triggered her migraine. She complied at her doctor's advised to take minimal loads on her work and take his prescribed medicine if ever her migraine would strike again.

Pauline was seating on her desk as she scanned the files. Shin Woo already gave her other workloads to her subordinates so she could rest anytime of the day. She smiled at his sincerity.

Her telephone buzzed and she answered it immediately. "Min Ji."

"It's almost lunch, Miss Pauline. Would you like me to order a lunch for you?"

She looked at her wristwatch. It was quarter to twelve already. Her doctor advised her not to skip meals.

"No. I'll be down to the cafeteria. Just order yourself a lunch, Min Ji. Thank you."

"Okay, boss."

She stood out and made her way outside from her office. She stepped down to the stairs since the elevator was five steps below to her floor. Clumsily, her heel tripped over and her body swayed downward. Pauline was waiting her body to rock onto the bottom but nothing happened. She slowly opened her eyes and saw lean body, supporting her weight. She raised her head to see the person and her eyes widened when she saw who it was.

Pauline instantly pulled herself together and smiled awkwardly at him.

"Thanks."

Bin Young just nodded at her and without a word, he turned his heels away from her. Pauline just followed him in her eyes, disbelieving.

Was he a robot or something?

She was about to walk through when she heard Bin Young's voice behind her.

"Stop being so clumsy, Miss Pauline. I might fell on you head down if I'm not too careful to support you."

His words were like acid to her ears she couldn't help but be insulted at him. She turned to bark at his remark but he was nowhere to be found. She frowned. Where the heck was he? Who do you think you're dealing with, Mr. Jogeumi Eolgul?

Right. Death Face really suited him. His personality was cold as an ice and his face contoured a grotesque features looking like a lifeless doll. A lifeless handsome doll.

That prick! I sure wanted to reprimand his behavior some other time.

Pauline carefully picked the paper and opened it. Her heart was hammering inside.

Dear Miss Pauline,

I fell and I fell on you every single day.

How I wish you will be able to catch me in your loving arms, my cherie.

Deeply falling,

Mr. Grim

She froze, remembering Bin Young's words earlier.

"I might fell on you head down if I'm not too careful to support you."

Pauline covered her mouth with her hand in disbelief when it dawned on her.

Oh my God.
