A daughter's revenge

At the capital ....

Wang Wei and his fellow workers left for capital early in the morning next day.There were six men in their group, managing twenty high bred horses.They reached the capital before night fall and they lodged in one of their usual inns.

In the six men's group,Wang Wei was the only new one.All others had been to capital before, for the business because they had been working in city magistrate's stables for years.

Although Wang Wei knew every nook and corner of the capital as back of his palm,he was new to this business system.Therefore, he intended to learn and get familiarized with this business system in order to get his own benefits later for completing their own mission .Still, he needed to contact his old friends too.But he postponed all those works for the next day and went to have a good rest.

Next day, they went to various places for handing over the horses according to the orders.They finished that task successfully by the evening.Except for handing over horses,they had few simples tasks to do whilethey were in capital.Therefore they dispersed, deciding to meet again each other at night.

Wang Wei went to the inn where he left his fellow guards before leaving capital.As they decided before leaving,he told few words to the inn keeper in a very low voice.The inn keeper led Wang Wei to a room in upstairs .He waited there about ten minutes until his friends come.After they arrived there, they started their discussion .

All of them were mostly recovered from their ailments.They had joined to work at the inn until they get instructions fromWang Wei.

Wang Wei started explaining his thoughts,plans and asked to add their opinions on that.

"We lack on man power.For now,we have only four of us and our miss on our team.I am sure that we would be able to find many people who respect our master and would help us on behalf of our master.But we have to work really hard to build our selves as soon as possible."Wang Wei explained .

"I am ready to go through hell and fire in order to avenge mymadam" it was the voice of Zhu Li,the only female among them.Her tear-filled eyes were gleaming while her voice was filled with determination .

She was a twenty years old girl.She was rescued by Lady Jiang Lin once, when she was going to be sold as a bride to a very old man.From that day onwards,she had dedicated her life for serving Jiang Lin household.

Slavery was not very common in Qing empire.But there were some situations ,which people become slaves and people could get other people as their slaves.

In Zhu Li's case,she was a daughter of a farmer.She was the eldest daughter of family while she had six younger sibilings.They lived happily until her father's crops were destroyed because of the drought again and again.Her father had taken money from a loan shark in order to feed the family.But because of the unsuccessful crops,he could not pay off the debt on time.

The creditor had come to get money or take their family as slaves.Unfortunately,in Qing empire,it ,"unpaid debt" was one situation a person can take another person as his slave.Therefore they had no any other option except for being slaves until they would be able to pay their debts.

But after seeing Zhu Li,who was considerably pretty and was fourteen years old then,reaching to the marriageble age, thecreditor gave them another option .If she agreed to be his wife,he would release the rest of family being slaves and free of their debts.

The creditor was a widower in his fifties or sixties.

Obviously he was much more older than even Zhu Li's father.Zhu Li's parents vehemantly denied the offer and were ready to be slaves when Zhu Li took an unimaginable decision.She did not want her little sibilings to suffer.She thought that only by sacrificing herself,her family coud lead a peaceful life and she agreed for that old creditor's offer.

Her parents plead her not to do that stupid sacrifice for their sake and destroy her life ,they were ready even for dying than sacrificing their daughterbut she was adamant on her decision.

The old creditor took her with him,releasing her family from debt.But on their way,Zhu Li's determination started to waver because of the greedy look on that old man's eyes.He made perverted comments on her beauty and he was eager to get her married to himself.

Because of that man's indecent behavior and impolite comments,Zhu Li's determination started to dissolve.She got scared.Therefore she escaped from that old man's carriage when she got the very first chance and fled.
